New Trend Alert: Nautical Style Inspiration

One of my favorite things to wear are stripes and this trend celebrates stripes more than any other trend.

Blue, white and red are the colors you want to use in order to enrich your style with some nautical inspiration and small and big gold details are a must!

What I love about this trend is the fact that it can make anyone look more fresh and bright. Stripes and other nautical details are an easy way to dress up, without having to do much. A pair of jeans mixed with a striped blouse and a pair of heels says a lot more than a pair of jeans and a regular blouse.

The nautical trends offers us so many different items to choose from. From belts and handbags to dresses, accessories and shoes…They come in the classic navy blue, red and white and it is hard to choose from.

The thing to keep in mind when wearing items inspired by the nautical trend is that you should never wear two big pieces from this trend at the same time. Less is more and you don’t want to end up looking like you’re a lost sailor!

A great thing about this trend is that you don’t need to spend a huge amount of money to be able to rock it! A striped blouse doesn’t have to cost that much and a blouse is a great item to choose, if you are only willing to buy one piece. Accessories like a handbag, some striped flats or an anchor necklace are also small pieces to help you get this look.

In order to steer away from the classic nautical style, you can also choose to go with an unconventional color like yellow or purple.

This time around we’re seeing colors other than red, blue and white in the shops, although I really love how such a strong color as red looks simple and is very easy to mix into the outfit, in this trend. And who could ever say no to blue?
