Women who love fashion and take pride in their appearance don’t leave the house before every item is in its right place and they feel satisfied and confident in their outfit. However, this is not always possible. The fast paste lifestyles and unpredicted situations at times result in only a small amount of time spent in front of the mirror dressing up and deciding what to wear!

What can save the style in those situations when the time is not on our side? It’s simple – a handbag. Even when your outfit is simple and maybe even a little boring, a handbag can change everything about the look. Who doesn’t dream of owning a Chanel handbag? It can shine up any outfit and make it go from plain to extraordinary in a matter of minutes!
A handbag does not have to cost a fortune in order to look great, but just like with shoes, the designer handbags ooze of luxury, quality and beauty. Investing in a good designer handbag will cost you, but in the end, it will save you money. Ask yourself following questions:
- How many handbags do you have?
- How much money have you spent on those?
- Do you still use every single one?
- Or are you dreaming of a Chanel handbag?
I don’t know about you, but I don’t know one single woman who doesn’t use a handbag on a daily basis. The handbag is somewhat of a PA or an emergency kit, for most of us – normally, it contains everything from our wallet to perfume to touch-up make-up! And if you’re relying on your handbag as much as I am on mine, why not invest in one that you will not get tired of after carrying it around for a few weeks? And no, you will not get tired of a Chanel handbag any time soon!
Spend To Save
A handbag is one of those items where spending means saving. You’ve probably already spent as much money as a few of those designer lovelies up there cost on handbags that are of poor quality and definitely don’t ooze of luxury in the same way a Marc Jacobs handbag does. If you’re going to treat yourself to one designer item, let it be a handbag – it will make you feel like a million bucks, you will ooze of confidence and any outfit will be just a bit more glamorous – and you will love yourself for it. The quality of the designer handbags and their classic designs will always be wearable – even ten, twenty years from now! But if you’re looking for a trendy handbag for this season, you can find so many beautiful once that won’t break your wallet!

Although I love handbags and also own quite the collection, I have to say that shoes do the trick for me whenever I want to feel more confident etc.
Therefore it seems more “reasonable” to me to spend more money on those.. (but I also wouldn’t turn down a nice Chanel bag… I mean: Who would???)

Totally agree! I have many (many!) bags but nothing beats my Chanel handbag which I got this year (birthday present from hubby) and yes, I totally looove it! I use it everywhere. It DOES transform a so-so outfit and funny enough, it makes me feel good.
PS. I am yet to purchase my first pair of Jimmy Choo shoes tho =D

I wish you would have said how a handbag can transform an outfit. When I go to the stores and see all the bags, and I have a limited budget, I am confused as to what to buy.
I would suggest saving up to buy one good handbag that you’ll have for many years. It doesn’t have to be a $3000 Marc Jacobs handbag but a Marc By Marc Jacobs for $500. :) And this is also about ‘saving’ your boring look that you didn’t have time to make cute :)

I feel I’m a handbag kind of girl! Luxury well looked after bags can master any outfit! I think mulberry bayswaters are good investments and for everyday chic Marc by Marc Jacobs! Chanel bags are always going to be timeless, which is why I love love love!
