Right now there’s a large array of different running shoes that people use as an everyday shoe just because they’re so cool to look at and at the same time very comfortable to walk in. However, they’re still running shoes, so you could actually use them as… well, running shoes. A trend right now is to use a lot of colors and mix them well. Also use the colors as contrast to the rest of your look – that goes for your everyday clothes as well as your running clothes. - Never wear a shoe that’s too large – they should fit like a glove otherwise your foot will to glide back and forth.
- The new trend with running shoes that are supposed to feel like you’re running barefoot should be taken with a warning – run on a soft surface or else you’re going to feel it in your feet and legs pretty soon.
- If your knees, shins or lower calves are hurting, reconsider the shoe or run on a softer surface instead of tarmac.
When you’ve bought the perfect running shoe that expresses your personality remember that working out isn’t only about the shoe. Eat light before doing a workout, drink lots of water and remember to do some thorough stretching exercises to prevent sore limbs and injury afterwards.
