I have always been a fan of lace in moderate degrees. Avoiding looking like a bride is the key, but the right amount of lace can take any look from plain to stylish. When worn right, it can make a day outfit consisting of for instance a pair of jeans much more dressy and an an evening look cute and sophisticated. During summer time, lace dresses like the ones above are a definite staple in my wardrobe.

Dress 1/ Dress 2/ Dress 3
If you’re not into dresses, a cure lace blouse will do the trick!
Pair your lace items with some casual, like jeans, denim shorts or black leather-look pants, in order to achieve a trendy and current look and avoid looking like a little girl or a bride! When it comes to accessories, don’t go overboard, as the lace is accessory enough on its own and should be the centre of the outfit. I personally prefer white and nude lace for day, as black lace quickly becomes too glamourous and even date, during the evening.
Are you a lace-lover?
Do you wear lace? How do you style your lace items? Here’s how I would style a lace dress on a chilly summer’s evening! What do you think of this look?

I love wearing lace, and I find this post very helpful. I wear a cream lace bodycon dress with the leather jacket and mid heel shoes and a clutch for an evening look. I have lace shorts which I have not wore once yet, what would you recommend me? I am thinking of wearing them with a black tshirt with a music band but I am not so keen about looking silly. Anything I should bear in mind while wearing lace shorts?
