Are you having a hard time deciding what to serve during a small party? Being a party host can be quite stressful because you need to make sure that your guests are happy. The most important thing to consider is food; this can either make your guests stay or make them give excuses to leave early. I am sure you don’t want to get the latter reaction so it is best to think of the perfect food to serve.
Finger foods are quite popular in parties because they are easy to eat and prepare. Your guests can still do other stuff while munching, like playing games at FoxyBingo. This gaming hub offers classic bingo games and exciting tournaments, which is suited for small parties. Aside from bingo, you can also play other fun indoor games with your guests like charades or twister games.
Before the party begins, make sure to visit Bilka or any other supermarket to get all the ingredients for your finger foods. You don’t need to be a culinary expert like Chef Rene Redzepi to prepare these easy snacks:
Stuffed Dates
You can choose different fillings for the dates, but the best choice is goat cheese. Just add one clove of garlic (finely chopped), two teaspoons of chopped fresh parsley and a pinch of salt to four ounces of goat cheese. Spoon the mixture into each date, then refrigerate for two hours. Remove from the refrigerator and wait until it gets into room temperature before serving.
Nuts and Cereal Bowl
This is probably the easiest thing to make because all you need to do is combine the nuts and cereals in a bowl. If you want more flavor in your bowl, then you can add one tablespoon of sesame oil, one tablespoon of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, ¼ cup soy sauce, ½ cup canola oil, ½ teaspoon chili powder, and a pinch of salt into four cups of whole-grain cereal, two cups of puffed-rice cereal, one cup sliced almonds, one cup raw pumpkin seeds, and ¼ cup raw sesame seeds. After mixing all the ingredients, spread them on a baking sheet and bake in the oven (300 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes. Make sure to stir the mixture every 10 minutes.
