Normally I don’t go for shoes that I know will hurt my feet {byy bye, Louboutins!}, but these Zara sailor espadrillas were just too cute to pass on. Can you imagine a crisp white shirt, a pair of rolled up boyfriend jeans and these red and white babies on your summer tanned feet? I’ll probably have to suck up the pain, but I guess no pain no gain! What do you think of these cute shoes for a morning walk to the market to get fresh ingrediants for a healty summer breakfast? Now I just can’t wait for my summer vacation to come!

Finally the weather in my corner of the world has turned around and become warmer and sunnier. It seems as though everyone is all of a suddan happier! In Denmark, the weather is very important and almost all conversations start or end with a comment about it. I guess when it plays such a big role, it’s almost like a happening! Anywho, it’s now warm enough {and some day even too warm} to have only a leather jacket on, and I can’t explain the excitement of packing down winter coat. It’s not too long ago that we still had snow on the ground, so you can understand why we’re all so excited. My new jumper is from Asos and I love not only the lace detail collar that looks vintage, but also the pattern of the jumper making it more unique. What do you think about it?

On my recent trip to the US I spent one day in Washington D.C. – the beautiful capital of USA.  As we were staying in New York we took a one-day trip by bus using Washington Deluxe (wonderful bus company – very good prices, free wi-fi and great service!). The bus ride lasted for about 4 hours but with the free wi-fi and wonderful USA outside (we got to see Baltimor really upclose) it went by very fast. We arrived in Washington around noon and returned to NYC in the evening, so we had just enough time to see all of the natioal monuments by taking a long and sunny walk down the National Mall from the Capitol and all the way down to the Lincoln Memorial. Ever since I saw Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln I have been infatuated by this president! Unfortunately one day is not enough to visit The Smithsonian – they say you can easily spend a whole day in there (it is afterall world’s largest museum). It was a wonderful day full of great memories. The feeling of standing in front of some of the most famouse historical monuments in the world was amazing and I would recommend everyone who gets a chance to visit Washington.  My project  >>colorfull wardrobe<< is starting to come to life and one of the very colorful new items I’ve added to my wardrobe is this pretty necklace from Asos. I love the simple shape and the bright mix of colors that compliment each other very well. Had the shape of the necklace been big and bold, the colors would become too much. I like the exagurated stones and look forward to weraing it with a plain white t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Do you like to add colorful necklaces to your outfit? After a long and cold winter, Copenhagen has finally seen its first real spring days full of sun, happy people, joyous mood and pretty flowers. This past Saturday, my boyfriend and I went to Copenhagen’s botanical garden in the heart of the city where both tourists and locals like to visit and enjoy a small picnic in front of one of the garden’s lakes. I wore my new shirt from Asos, which is one of the latest purchases in my >>colorful wardrobe<< project. I tend to go for the neutral colors {meaning black} and it’s about time to try and do something about it. What do you like to do on sunny spring days?

Fjällräven… Sounds weird, huh? Fjällräven Kanken backpacks are known for their quality, durability and timeless design. I remember seeing them on all the teachers as a kid, but today you can’t walk out to the streets of Copenhagen without being met by a rainbow of these classic bags. I share mine with my boyfriend {we also share a watch} and I must say, even though this is no feminine leather handbag that I usually opt for, I love it! Here in Copenhagen we bike everywhere and biking with my Alexander Wang duffle bag is just not as comfy as it is biking with this trendy beauty on my back. Finally, it seems that Fjällräven has transitioned over the Scandinavian border to the rest of the world and now you can buy these hipster bags over at Asos! Check them out right here.

I have been dreaming about a pair of Rag & Bone Classic Newbury boots for several years and now they’re finally here! They’re a celebrity favorite with fashionistas like Rachel Bilson, Sienna Miller, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and many others sporting these boots year long. What I love about these boots is the fact that they’re as soft on the inside as they are on the outside – you could even wear them without socks! They’re extremely comfortable and perfectly suitable for spring and summer. This is the kind of boot that will become even more beautiful with time giving them personality and edge! I am so happy with these, I am already considering them in black too. What do you think of these boots? 

Rag & Bone Newbury in Nubuck

Once again it’s time to put away those furry boots and woolen sweaters away and embrace the beautiful spring fashion. One of the first things we think about in terms of fashion when the warm weather returns is updating our shoes. It’s time to paint the toes in a bright color and show them off to the world. Is it time to get a new pair sandals?

I have here found a classic pair that will be perfect not just for Spring/Summer 2013 but for years to come. The clean lines of these wonderful JB Martin sandals make them the perfect match with any sort of dress, cut off denim shorts, skinny jeans or skirt. Just imagine these sandals with a wide black mini-skirt, a basic white tank and a pair or sunglasses. Top it all off with a colorful nail polish and you got yourself a classic, yet trendy summer look!

What I like the most about these sandals is the leather and its simplicity as well as the rawness. I also like the black mixed with the red on the sole which sets these apart from other regular, black summer sandals. What do you think about them? Would you wear them?
