Fashion For Men: A Colorful Suit

by Milana · 0 comments

Not too long ago Harry from A Suit That Fits wrote about the style of one of our favorites, Chuck Bass. A Suit That Fits have now tailored a bespoke suit inspired by the iconic Marmite jar, perfect for Chuck Bass and any other stylish man who wants to add some color to fall.

The famed Marmite pop-up shops are back in Selfridges stores in London, Birmingham and Manchester and the staff uniform has been tailored by A Suit That Fits to match the iconic jar.

About The Suit…

The suit uses all the colors of the iconic Marmite jar, but with some stylish twists:

  • The trousers are tapered in slightly at the bottom which is a big trend this season.
  • The jacket is one-buttoned with a hand-stitched notched lapel, a single vent and slanted flapped pockets.
  • The red waistcoat is a 4-buttoned, slim fit style with a notched base and the red shirt is a pinstriped slim fit cotton.

Johnny Harrison, Senior Style Advisor at A Suit That Fits, worked with the creators of the pop-up shop to design the suits. Johnny says,

“When I was creating the look, I wanted to design something classically British with a quirky, eccentric twist taking the Marmite brand’s iconic history as my starting point. By using the Marmite jar colours in this way I was able to create something very bold. The words ‘Mad Men’ were also raised in the pre-design discussion; we involved elements of 60’s styling that are proving very popular with our regular A Suit That Fits customers!”

Have Your Say…

What do you think of this colorful suit? Would you wear it? I think it’s very fun and interesting and adds something extra to the idea of a three-piece suit.
