6 Accessories for the Beach

When it comes to vacations and beach fashion, I like to be prepared. I recently wrote about what to wear to the beach and now it’s time to take a look at the accessories from beach bag to fedora. Take the simple beach style to a new level with chic and trendy items.

No. 1

A fedora is not only a great way to shield your face from the sun and avoid the wrinkles – it’s a chic statement. I am not a hat person usually, but summer vacation is the perfect time to experiment with hats!

No. 2

Fun sunglasses – summer vacation is also the perfect time to try out fun sunglasses. I wrote about 2012 sunglasses trend recently and keyhole sunglasses would be my pick this year!

No. 3

A scarf – it may seem a little crazy to wish for a scarf for the beach, but think about it. Scarves are so versatile – you can wrap it around your hips when going to get the ice cream, you can hide your hair from the sun, you can put it over your shoulder when it gets too hot, you can put it ever your bag to keep your water from getting war…and so on… all while looking trendy!

No. 4

A beach bag – of course a must for all your essentials – I love a neutral one that you won’t get tired of any time soon and that can keep all your goodies!

No. 5

Sandals – flip flops are cool, but a sparkly pair of espadrilles is even cooler and trendier!

No. 6

Headphones – if you know you’re going to be at the beach the entire day a few different entertainment objects are a good idea. A pair of chic headphones will make the experience even more fun!

What do you bring to the beach with you?

Are there any specific items that you would love to have in your beach-wear rotation this year?
