When it comes to sunglasses, summer of 2012 is full of unconventional choices that will definitely give any look that something extra and take your style to another level. The three main trend that we are seeing currently are:
- Keyhole
- Cat eye
- Wayfarers
Keyhole sunglasses are truly unique and edgy. They are, like Wayfarers, to be seen amongst the cool kids with rolled up jeans and rock n’ roll tees usually, but what makes them even cooler is pairing them in an unconventional way with a feminine dress, making the dress more edgy and the keyhole sunglasses less awkward.
Cat eye sunglasses are very 50s and will definitely add some glamour to your summer look. Think of Dita von Teese! You can go for a classic pair or a polka dotted one, if you really want to stand out at the beach or down by the pool!
Wayfarers have been über trendy for quite some time now and they don’t seem to be leaving any summer soon! If you want to spice the look, choose a patterned pair (like this Union Jack pair) or a shape that differs just a little bit from the traditional Ray-Ban icons.

Wayfares, I love them. I have this really cool silver pair I just got and I’m also going to buy actually wayfares the classic black ones and maybe over sized.
